More than Hearing Audiology Service

More Than Hearing is an entirely independent, multidisciplinary clinic with a commitment to the assessment and rehabilitation of
hearing and balance disorders. For more than 30 years we have been working both independently and alongside Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists.

Our Audiologists are fully accredited to provide hearing services to pensioners, Veteran Affairs as well as Work Cover clients.

We promote a multidisciplinary approach to the assessment, treatment, and management of:

• Auditory processing for both adults and children;
• Tinnitus
• Dizziness and balance disorders;
• Hearing and communication disorders

We are strong advocates of hearing rehabilitation beyond aid fitting, promoting:

• Patient and Family centred hearing rehabilitation aimed at those with a hearing loss and their communication partners;
• Realistic step-by-step hearing solutions;
• Pro-active individualised counselling;
• Remote fine-tuning, minimising face-to-face contact and visits

Our Listening and Communication programs are extended to:

• Unsuccessful Hearing Aid wearers;
• Those with minimal or no hearing loss (ie. without the need of amplification);
• Reluctant Hearing Aid candidates

We are happy to see clients under the Office of Hearing Services for both hearing diagnostics, hearing aid fitting and specialty hearing rehabilitation.

We don’t believe the success of Hearing Rehabilitation is dependent on the cost of devices but more so on the service and after care.
